Film Africa is committed to work towards development and social change in Africa through its films and media projects.
Using local knowledge and expertise and encouraging direct participation of the local communities we aim to:
- Campaign through film for social change on some of the most pressing issues facing Africa.
- Document and promote positive examples of development projects
- Encourage social inclusion by running participatory video projects with discriminated groups.
- Contribute to a better cross-cultural understanding between communities.
Film Africa works in social documentaries, news footage used for campaigning and documentaries and drama produced through participatory projects in many parts of Africa.
Film Africa was co-founded by experienced film makers Dominique Chadwick and Abibata Mahama.
